Phil Guy's music is a combination of savvy Chicago blues mixed with down home Louisiana and Mississippi River Delta blues. And like a finely tuned machine or delicious recipe his music also includes Rock and Roll, Jazz, Soul, and Hip Hop!

     Phil Guy and The Chicago Machine know how to entertain. Whether it's a Jimmy Reed, Rolling Stones, Albert Collins, James Brown, Buddy Guy, Otis Redding, Eric Clapton or Phil Guy tune (and more) - audiences bring their hands together and clap, tap their feet to the rhythm, sing and hum to the tunes, and get up and dance, dance, dance!!! 
     Between coast to coast domestic work and tours of Europe - including Germany, Finland, Italy and Canada, Australia and Africa, Phil makes Chicago his home.
     Years ago, both Phil and Buddy opened for the Rolling Stones. Since then, Phil has played with noted artists such as Junior Wells, Raful Neal, Kenny Neal, Lonnie Brooks, A.C. Reed and many other talented musicians.
